A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption and homosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption. Even non-religious people know this.
Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have succeeded at framing themselves as noble victims; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.

Why on earth do people believe that 'gay marriage' will somehow rock the foundations of 'traditional marriage'?! @DackIsBack I believe that is because gay people have to fight and struggle to get married dispite societie's dissapproval. They have to REALLY love each other and really want to get married in order to endure all that. Straight people are expected to get married, so it's extremely easy to marry the wrong person.

Gay marriages last longer, The partners tend to be more faithful as they only have ~10% of the opportunity's to cheat with other gay men.(straight people have ~50% of the population to cheat with, Gays only have ~5%)
