This is the theme song/intro to a short film I shot back in the olde days, before digital video, at the dawn of digital editing (9.1 gig video editing multi-disk HD-- $500). Most of the editing was done on a flatbed film editing table (I still have it- big green Moviola dinosaur). The complete short, as seen at Slumdance and Dragoncon '97, will be posted eventually, when I re-edit it. The film, shot in 1995/6 is 15 minutes long, and was shot on 16mm film for about $3000. Just the cheesy video effects in the film were big$$$ software back then, and took HOURS to render a few seconds (now they can be done in seconds with $29 software, lol/cry).
Yeah, I know some of the jokes haven't dated well, and go by too fast. Got to fix that in the re-edit.
Song/script/money/nigh-everything by me, crew help by a couple of friends, music by talented friends, character created by/acted by Ben Armstrong (call me , Ben, it's time for the next one bwahahahahaha).
I went into creative hibernation a couple of years after making this, but now "the sleeper has awakened."
Expect more&better this year.
