Raw Food: In this episode of Jenna's Healthy Kitchen, kickboxing champion Don "The Dragon" Wilson is Jenna Norwood's special guest. Don and Jenna make a healthy Veggie Fried Rice. It's an un-fried, no-rice raw food recipe. It's easy and surprisingly delicious! Don has special kitchen skills. Watch him karate chop a carrot with his foot. Don "The Dragon" is in the Guinness Book of World Records for winning the most kickboxing championships and he's starred in more than 30 films. Check out "The Sentinel," coming up on the Sci Fi Channel. Don's face will also be appearing on a Chinese stamp soon.

  • You'd be surprised. Try it sometime! Have you ever noticed you get hungry right after eating rice? That's because it's just filler, with almost no nutrition. Also makes you sleepy.

  • ARE YOU SERIOUS. HE'S 54?

That is BEYOND crazy. I know I can't see perfect quality over the internet...but he looks like he's in his early 30's...wow.

  • this was sooo good I just made it guestimating with my laptop on the counter. It's FANTASTIC! I added too much Tamari but fault of my own

my husband and i are no exclusively raw but knowing these recipes makes not eating raw hard to excuse.

  • @SuperchargeMe Brown rice is good for you with a lot of vitamins, fiber, and it's also filling. Granted white rice has almost all of the nutrients stripped from it, and it's just a carb.

  • is Don a raw foodist or Veggie?!

  • how did you chop the cauliflower?! :D

  • @SuperchargeMe

I read about that in Dr. Joel Fuhrmans 'Live to Eat' book. He said that when we eat nutrient-empty food, we still feel hungry because our nutrient needs haven't been met, even though our calorie needs may have been exceeded. When i read that he said that it all made SO much sense to me!! All the nutrient empty foods like rice, bread and pasta leaves me feeling hungry coz I'm still hungry for nutrients.
