  • WW1 was more a natural desaster than a war , a slaughterhouse for all nations with no winner ,except the French they needed the war for revenge against germany because of his 1870/71 defeat . And his versailles treaty terms led to the arise of the Nazis in Germany and then a new War. The US and Brits warned the French Goverment that too hard terms will bring the next war but the french Goverm. dont like to hear.

  • It was our european civil war , 1914-1945 . Europe lost it.

  • @bcfsl

Thats why franche is one of the most hated countrys in the world.

  • @Fehnriss i agree if it wasn't for WW1 we wouldn't have the UN or NATO or the rise of communism or Nazism

  • Since when have the French listened to anybody but the FrencH?

  • @099999999faf Now the europeans has learn the lesson ,War is no solution. It was a bloody lesson for all Nations

  • @Fehnriss I lost my great uncle during the war and I never wanted this war.

  • @099999999faf I am german, my Mother is german and iam born as a german and my Father is born as a French because of Algerian origin he served in the french Army

. I think you know what Algeria is ,it is the Country in which French Troops made hundreds of Ouradour sur Glane!

  • @Fehnriss My people have lost 1300000 soldiers during the First World War and for the second English policies like ours (Champerlain, Daladier) were too stupid to react. If you did not was on an island you would have been overwhelmed as we are, I think

  • 7 country vs Turks

  • @Fehnriss Basically Europe was stuck in a system that was going to self destruct and it was fucked either way.

  • @Fehnriss No worries mate, i'm starting to learn german anyway so ur response would be good practice ^^ I'm not saying germany and austria were to blame for the war. It was inevitable and they both got sucked in with the rest of europe. As i said there was no way to find a peaceful solution and the german desire for revenge was inevitable and only natural (just like the french after the war of 1870). About Austria's reaction, also understandable, and it's a shame because the archduke was good.
