The Gulf of Mexico BP oil spill is an environmental end of day’s bomb if the oil contains substantial iron and the surface water shows an increase in acidity. The acidification of the oceans indicates that the water is capturing atmospheric carbon and produces some carbonic acid. I would imagine that the air interface over a strong carbon sink would even slightly burn the eyes . A elite geologist John Martin stated in a speech “give me a tanker of Iron and I will cause the next ice age”.

@anonymoustruther1 it may be the cleanest but with any form of energy there is the drawbacks. There may be a ton more oil spills than meltdowns, but the one meltdown has and is causing more problems than any oil spill ever will, even the BP one in the gulf.

The one and only Renewable & Biodegradable oil source is currently illegal. The 'War on Drugs' has been the second biggest social failure in American History, second only to Slavery. Re-Legalize Industrial Hemp so we can grow all of our oil and fuel in America Mr. President. Hemp Biodiesel Engines + Hemp Cellulose Ethanol = WIN. NO army can stop an idea whose time has come.
