Rolls Royce Meteor (Merlin) engine sound

RR Meteor was made for tanks, not airplanes as Merlin, but it is basicly a Merlin without supercharger. V12 in 60°, overhead cam and it's huge (27 litres). The Meteor engines was also built by Rover. Pictures at http://picasaweb.google.com/svein.erling/TrondheimMotorShow2007/photo#5075320...

Kids these days, someone puts nice soundtrack of engine and few describing pictures and all kids do is moan. Why don't you find that spine of yours and pull it straight.

Hubby just got himself a boat with a Merlin in it...LOL... Now me... I know nothing and the sound doesn't do anything for me.... BUT for him the whole idea just... well you know. LOL

TiT the cannon did not fire through the crank shaft (it would have to be hollow, then it would snap! wouldn't it?) It fired through the spinner. You are mixing things up with the BMW engines in 109s being mounted upside down in the bay, if they misfired (which they did) they blew their valves out. You gotthis so wrong your arrogance must be bleeding out your nose!
