Whales Teach a Friend to Brew Day November 2009

The WHALES have always participated in the American Homebrewers Association's semi annual big brew days. I've hosted the autumn "Teach a Friend to Brew Day" for the past three years. Thanks to some last minute rescheduling, we've broken the rain curse and ended up with a nice day. We collectively made about 130 gallons of beer this year, 55 gallons of which is part of a larger Flanders Brown barrel project.

Great tune man! And as always great video! I am trying to get a group together out here in Germany, they aren't as into the "hobbybrau" as you would think. I got almost 3 years here to go, I will try to make an impression on the plentiful beer drinking community. They get all weirrd about things like Irish moss, because of the 400 year old purity law. They have a LHBS in Belgium, I plan on making a trip up there and filming/posting it. That dude in the red shirt is a beer brewing GIANT!!!
