@TheDDDGROM that is straight cut gear ( the gear is crying ). it wont hurt the engine or the transmission.

@ghosteamairsoft actually on modern cars, it's better not to clutchless up shift. It is nearly impossible to match the revs down to a single rpm so even if you are close and only off by 50-100 rpm, your syncro has to do a lot of work adjusting the entire drivetrain including the motor to the exact correct rpm. If the clutch is used, then all the syncro has to spin up or down is the tranny and clutch disc. It is a cool trick, but is only better for dog cut gears.

WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@argh1989 You can upshift without the clutch if you hit the right revs. But sequential shift (like the bikes) cuts the throttle while up-shifting anyway.
-
I think motorcycle riders upshift clutchless all the time if they want to, so it can't be THAT hard on the gearbox. I think all of the performance motorcycles use straight cut gears too.

Are people actually this stupid? This guy can drive! Clutchless shifting is NOT bad for your transmission if you do it CORRECTLY like he is doing. This driver obviously knows how to move his feet around the pedals and I guarantee is 100x better at driving than any of the idiots posting on this video. If you don't understand how cars work and think because he doesn't use the clutch he will ruin his car, you need to shut up and learn a bit more about how cars work!!

@TheDDDGROM its a group n rally car you stupid fuck!
-
@crice1uk precisely the transmission.
-
shifting without using the clutch = transmission damage: transmission damage = $3,000-$8,000~more depending on the car.
-
kick up rpm to drop the the gear into. makes it much smoother
it will destroy your engine
