Corey AHIG comparison

I am the ONLY person in the world as of now who owns both masks...... there is sooo much controversy over the 2..... but i noticed that ONLY the people who own the sheriffian mask think that sheriffians mask is the best..... i own both, and i can tell you its not........ It is very Cartoony, rather than realistic......... It looks like what corey might look like if he were animated as a cartoon. The sheriffian mask is well made, however seemingly...thoughtless i think the word is. It has complete lack of detail. it can be identified as being corey taylors mask, but.... they ALL can be identified as coreys mask... even the Officially liscensed mask. Alex's mask has more realism and detail.... the ONLY legit complaint ive heard about his mask is the mouth..... but that is arguable, because at points throughout the tour cycle, when coreys mask was new, his masks mouth had boxed edges..... maybe not QUITE as boxed, but.... if thats the main complaint, Sheriffians masks mouth is WAY too small, and the chin/face isnt long enough. The buckles on Alex's mask are very thoughtfully pieced together, whereas sheriffians mask seems to have chopped up dog collars.... nothing wrong with that, but they are innacurate, oversized, and seemingly thoughtless..... The EYES are a HUGE matter to me.... and Alex nailed them PERFECTLY..... The paint is also a huge deal to me, and again.... alex Nailed it.... Some people say it needs to be white..... but coreys mask was only white a couple days out of the whole tour cycle, otherwise, the latex had a pistachio green hue to it.... and that was when it was brand new. He had MULTIPLE versions of the same mask.... One noticeable difference between them all was the strap variations.

There are no 2 performances where coreys mask looked the same as the last, but i can honestly say after MONTHS of searching, it has NEVER looked like sheriffians mask.

I own 6 Corey AHIG masks ALL from DIFFERENT mask makers, including the officially liscensed, and Sheriffians is seemingly the LEAST accurate of them all.

@SynsterGatesA7X and, Corey Taylor actually had 2-3 sculpts for his AHIG mask. Agoths is more like coreys 2008 sculpt, and sherrifians is a lot more like coreys mid to late 2009 version. The only thing off about agoths is the mouth... But everything else is amazing... I love the way agoth puts a dark view on his work. I love the grungy highly-detailed paintjob. Sherrifian definately nailed his newest sculpt though....

@SynsterGatesA7X yeah, I've seen his new one. I didn't have it then though. His new one is a lot better than both of his old sculpts. The ONLY thing I don't like about his newest is the straps and buckles... They are nice, but nothing like coreys on his actual mask

@87SuperCooper Actually, sheriffians newest mask is MUCH better than agothinncloth's. Trust me I own both agothinnclotha's and sheriffians newest mask , and sheriffian's is WAY more accurate in shape, and sculplt.

I say, if you're a fan of his mask, it's not really all that important what kind it is or how it looks like. The only way you'll ever get a mask really similar to Corey's is if you take his mask and run.

@m134maggot Definitely, my new resculpted corey mask is much better in shape and fit. I use new mesh that is accurate to corey's mask and is easier to see through. I have new masks out now and more to come in the following weeks. Thanks

Agothincloth's mask is more like the mask in the Sulfer Music video, and Sherriffian's mask is more like the mask in the Dead Memories Music Video.
