  • Hi heroarts!!! I have three questions =D

    1. What paper is that? is that a glossy paper?

    2. is that called rubber stamp?

    3. what do you call that ink?

coz im gonna buy those things! hehe i needed them to demonstrate in the class. crayon resist is our lesson next week. really thanks =D

  • @irenevalguna Hello!

    1. It is glossy paper.

    2. Yes, a rubber stamp was used.

    3. Black Dye Ink (brand used in the video is Memories.)

Good luck with your class! :)

  • It's probably too late to ask this, but I wanted to know what the clear stuff was that you had stamped the same image onto and what ink you used to stamp onto the clear... whatever it was?

  • @franontheedge Hi! Shari stamped onto a Hero Arts acetate tag with StazOn ink. This ink is will not smear on the slick surface of the acetate.

  • This is beautiful and so cool! I love your vidoes! What kind of glossy cardstock is this? I tried this technique using several kinds.and it didn't work. Ironically, the first time I tried this and used some random section of unkown cardstock it worked beautifully! Then I got special glossy cardstock from Archiver's and it failed me!

  • Hi Suntulip,

I use Ranger's glossy cardstock, it works like a charm. Another tip I can give is to make sure your ink has dried before using the crayon.

    Glad you like the technique!

    Shari

  • You're right, they do look completely different.

  • Hi Shari,

Thank you so much for your quick response! I will buy the Ranger cardstock promptly, lol. Your work is just awesome. You so have the artistic eye. Just perfect. Thanks again!
