WEIRD PAUL: A LO FIDELITY DOCUMENTARY by Chicago filmmaker Stacey Goldschmidt premiered in Pittsburgh, PA on April 21st at the historic Harris Theater, downtown. The Movie is playing at the Music Box Theatre in Chicago, IL as part of the Chicago Underground Film Fest in August.
Paul performed live August 20th at the Empty Bottle in Chicago with M.O.T.O. and The Goblins.
The movie will be playing in the Leeds International Film fest. Paul will play 2 live shows in Leeds. The hour long film features interviews with Lou Barlow (SeBADoh, Dinosaur Jr.), Calvin Johnson (k Records), John S. Hall (King Missile), Britt Daniel (Spoon), Ethan Buckler (King Kong), Karl Hendricks (The KH Trio), Paul Caporino (MOTO), Mr. HCI (The Happy Flowers) and Lord Grunge & Grape-a-don (Grand Buffet), as well as many of Paul's former band members, the man who signed Paul to Homestead (Ken Katkin) and Paul's parents, relatives and son, Tristan!

i don't know anything about this guy but he seems like a fake like he's just trying too hard. this trailer also seems pretty standard documentary fare; pics of his akward childhood etc, nothing new or exciting here that seems to delve into the human spirit or grab at you. i linked off the danielle johnston trailer vid. now that is a story that should be told.
