  • Fantastic video, really helped with a project I'm working on! Many thanks :)

  • @adlen60062 You're welcome ;-)

  • Hello.

Great post. But I have a small question. Where did you find the preset you're using on the CS80V ?

    Many thanks

  • @fredtrace Thanks for the comments. It is not a preset, I just followed the same procedure as for the others synths but had it created already to save time for the video. If you follow the settings I have you should be able to get there quite easily. If I have time I will get a video up of just the CS-80 sound...

  • As a Logic novice I just stumbled across this video while browsing and wanted to say I thought your explanation was really good - what a fantastic sound from (what looked like) relatively straightforward tweeking ... thanks again

  • @richardbagley99 Thanks for the feedback, we aim to please!!

  • Hi, great sounds, I use it in my music, but i had to modify some JMB's presets to get this horn in CS80V... I also use the guitar sound but I must say that the ME80 has some more "real" CS80 sounds... Thanks for your great video!!!

  • Cheers for the tutorial. Them deep sounds are so mean.

  • Nice Tutorial! Personally I enjoyed the ES2 sound the most of the three, but of course it is mostly just a matter of finetuning etc on any of the snyths to get it to sound just like you want. I am quite inspired by Vangelis and make some music myself. if you want you can listen here watch?v=xO0y76A9HYk . Anyway, thanks again :-)

  • NIce tutorial man! keep it up :)

Also, guys check out the new forum / community for djs and producers:

    Cheers!

  • Awesome tutorial. Very straight to the point and informative. I like the fact that you can apply the same sound programming procedure into any VST synth that would have at least 2 oscillators. I wish though you could produce a separate video for CS-80 sound. Is there any way to enlarge the size of the GUI of the CS-80 (without changing the monitor's resolution)? Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing this info. I'm pretty impressed about that EOS reverb. Gotta have it. ;) Cheers!

  • @threecirclesaudio You can. If you have installed the plugins you should be able to! I opened GarageBand and my plugins such a sylenth1, massive work fine like they would in logic! But there were no logic synths like the es1/es2 there just for logic.
