I never understood the concept of subgenres, it seems that any good musician would create music that doesn't all sound the same (obviously keeping some vague sense of identity) so every song that they write would create some degree of "subgenre." no offense, but I think the whole think is just a lot of bullshit to make people feel like they really know music.

however there is something to be said for effort.
