  • incredible how often when i hear a drummer that impresses me for musicality it turns out to be this guy. one of the best musicians ever. thanks D for your work.

  • He's the drummer I most want to meet and hang out with.

  • Jack's playing helped me get into Miles Davis. I really liked the rock feel of Miles Live at the Filmore. Jack seemed to get a rock feel to his playing without ever seeming to repeat himself, unlike most rock drummers. I liked it so much that I bought Charles Lloyd live in the Soviet Union, on reading that Jack DeJonette and Keith Jarrett were in the line up. Another excellent album.

  • @scottmagnerod I agree that the man can't be touched-brilliant drummer. He should have shortened his name to Jack Dejohn.

  • Jack is one the most musical drummers around, he inspired me since I was 15

  • If Jack DeJohnette's name was easier to read and pronounce, I believe he just might be considered the greatest... at least by a wider audience.

  • Love the man

  • My Hero.....
