@annie10103 I don't know why people are making such an issue out of what he said, all he said was that he was just born in Wales. He's not Welsh really, his parents aren't Welsh, his parents just happened to be in Wales when he was born, He's from an English family not a Welsh one! He wasn't brought up in Wales and doesn't speak Welsh.
Rod Stewart wasn't born in Scotland but considers himself Scottish not English even though he clearly sounds English.

Christian Bale was born in Wales, grew up in England and moved to America. Standing on a piece of rock doesn't make you who you are and doesn't mean you've got "blood" of whatever land that is. What makes you what you are comes from the way you live your life and the principles, laws and values what ever country you choose to live by. Wales vales of Pride, hard worksmanship and strong family and community spirit. Its rare to fine people like that anywhere in wales these days, i know I live here

The Welsh are Spanish.

@karezza6 Lol how can you look English? Are you suggesting that as soon as you cross the border people look different?

@themenaceanish Christian Bale was born in Wales, not England. If your going to troll at least do it properly.
@themenaceanish
I like rain, so staying in England is important for me. The English countryside is nicer than America.
Yes, you are Chinese. Even if you want to be America, your origins will always be Chinese. It's even on your birth certificate. You can't escape who you are by moving to a different country, it's common logic.
You aren't American. Get over it.

If a an immigrant moves to England for forty years, he will never be English. It doesn't matter if his accent has changed or if he speaks a different language. He will always have been born in the same place.
If you moved to Germany that wouldn't make you German, you illiterate prick.
British "cekebrities" move to America because there is more chance of them getting good acting careers there.
