@JonO387, actually they were the first to do it (Daniel Langlois, then his company Sofftimage that was sold later on to Microsoft). And at the time yeah that's the best they could do : being the very first to produce a full numerical 3D animation... A year later they were the first to create a stereoscopic 3D computerized IMAX animation, presented at the Expo in Vancouver (1986). From Montreal, these guys have revolutionized computer animation and the movie industry in general.
intersting, 30yrs n still is watchable , looking at the drama mask faces wonder why gave such a dramatic chin. Shows still important is the story regardless of technology.
