That's a difficult question to answer... I think perhaps only your ears can decide if it has the sound(s) you want. Make no mistake, the Micro X is digital, but the samples in it can sound really good.

I have been watching your videos for the best possible idea of the sounds of the Micro X. Although I have played with it 4 or 5 times myself, due to the fact that it is a small monster with hundreds of presets, I am still trying to see if it can do Zarre-ish sounds.
The Virus always sounds so damn NICE! I've also played with it, although I have only scratched the surface of this classic synth. Now the question is: can the Micro X produce such nice and warm leads without any digital "edge"?

dude, you really shudda kept the EMX (i remember u saying u sold it if im not mistaken) if you spend some time editting your own drum phrases you can make some good stuff to go along with this music
