Prairie Dog Bowling 2009 - Group Shooting Montana varmints video

While spending 45 days in prairie dog towns this spring I managed to compile over 12 hours of pdog shooting footage. I compiled the best of the shots at multiple prairie dogs on a single mound. It is rare to get 10 prairie dogs to stand close together in a V-shape, and even rare to cause so much damage with one bullet that it knocks them all down, but when you finally get that STRIKE shot on video it all becomes worth the effort. Im using the .204 ruger in my model 12 savage and loving it.

they look like 200 + yard shots.

@tacoman375 i shot a squirrel with my 308 becaue the school section had no deer in it!! THAT was funny. it took like 3 seconds for it to fall from the tree!

and my buddy shot one after me with a 7mm mag!

Thanks for this video. You guys are right on. Good shots too. I shoot a .22-250 myself but you certainly can't take anything away from that little .204. Gosh, it's really impressive.Thanks for sharing this.

i went to Rosebud south dakota last spring,took my savage model 12 in 223. I took 400 rounds of reloads hornady 55 grain vmax molycoated,and i took mt left handed stag model 5L in 6.8 spc.I had 200 rounds.IF oyu ever get a chance go to rosebud indian reservation, Loaded with dog towns,I laid in one spot for 4 hours!had target anywhere from 85 yards to 350 yards. dogs have bad vision and if u sit still in laying down dogs will stay up for yah most of the day.
