people do not realize the whole story. We are used to this happy version. it is when she is so high and out of sorts that the whole world is about to end (WWII) -- it was full of complete hatred and disgust. That is why this is so wonderful.

Brilliance, brilliance. Sheer storytelling ability. Gina Gershon just effectively told you Sally's entire story with her breathtaking performance of this one song.

She's my favorite Sally. I've seen this clip like 800 times.
I like Raul Esparza too, but he kind of overdoes it a bit towards the end of the show. His version of the "If you could see her through my eyes" is the best.

I assume you're correcting a comment that I made a year ago. You are indeed right; the abortion came AFTER she sang Cabaret. She didn't come home that night, and the next morning, when Cliff asked her where her fur-coat was, she said that she left it at the doctor's office.

This is good but I like my friend Rachel's verson better. But it all ways better if you know who It is singing. I like the emcee to. Do you have him singing I Don't care much, or Wilkomen, or somthing else. you got me hooked agin, thanks that would be awsome.
