There is always the possibility and likelihood of miss-understanding when folk are from different countries

The Internet is meant to make people feel more connected

When either participant is unable or unwilling to empathise with the other, then there is risk of breakdown

.

Perhaps more overseas travel would help you to be empathetic with others from elsewhere in the world; it may knock from you, your antiquated hierarchical view of the world

Sorry to be awful, but if they aren't playing at that moment, live, on the beach, are those 'young&pretty' beachcombers, listening to a recording? . I know that wireless meant something else in those days and that the longest wire, according to the Guinness book of records, wouldn't have reached down to the beach ! . Just wondering. . .
