I'm on my adi part 3. Really good walkthrough of the left hand reverse. However i had to turn off the music. It reminds me of a Benny Hill show. Would have preferred something more soothing.

@satyajitsharma the reason I decided to write rather than instruct is so that the pupil can stop and start the video to take on the information, There are plenty of videos on youtube about driving and I was trying to make these different. The aim of the music is to help the pupil to focus 'into the zone' whilst preforming the manoeuvre this may help some people not others. Who's to say if I am right but get almost as many comments about the music as learning to drive!

This is a lot simpler in Australia, or here in Queensland at least - it's illegal to reverse around a corner here.

We do reversing up a hill instead.

great video :D However I really do think they need to redesign (for a lack of a better phrase) the actual test. I grew up with my father driving. When i turned 16 i couldnt afford a car so used to get lifts off friends/friends parents....i have never once seen this maneuver performed out in the real world. I passed my test last week (woo) and i still can not see a reason to use such a dangerous maneuver on the street. Out of curiosity, How do you (partdriving school) feel about this maneuver?
