@ProTouringdotcom Yes, Larry, I have done this at 3 events now all in a non-ABS car.
It's the really long slides where they don't appear to be letting off the brake that kill me.

@ProTouringdotcom Do you know if any of the OUSCI competitors changed their alignments between events? This is one event where the usual degree and a half or so of static negative camber would be quite a hindrance.

@Firebert79TA I don't know if they did but I would bet some may have. It was the final event of the day and could have. When I ran in 2009 all I did was drop the rear tire air pressure way down to help the launch.

Stop locking the front brakes! The static coefficient of friction is greater than the dynamic coefficient of friction! Why do people do this repeatedly?

@Firebert79TA I assume you have done this many times in a non ABS car on a dusty strip on a cold day to know how hard that is to do?
