zzz33333:
one two one two
gimmie the mic and the light
now the fight is alive
jive high five and vibe as the lyrics arise with beats
eat trees to get by
each night's a trial and we need to survive
police, peace-bleeders, please hold heaters to this, can't touch it whip you like egg beaters
these fake people eat bait, they leaving their brains on the plate and it makes me insane this ain't a pot it's a windowless cage
this ain't hot this is fucking enflamed
this ain't mad this is fucking enraged
what would i do get out of this place?
gimmie night, i'm alive we gon do it or die
it's motherfucking fuck shit up fall or fly
i aint dead but my head's seeing red
are you ready to fuck up the FEDs and smoke up the headies
cut off your nose and grow out the dreadies
i gave you a month but you angry already
black betty to gettysburg DC, the levee's sure to break cause the water is heavy
steady medical marijuana getting me blitzed got plenty of empty souls who need
fixing every second we waste is another one lost.the day is today
i dont know why i cant die, i can fly
and i dont know why we alive, we alive
and i'm gonna fight for my right to survive
and i'm gonna motherfucking light you alive
davidaorta:
light you on up like the fourth of july
the return of the jedi
hand me a light
saber-tooth tiger bones
in a museum of wax
throw'n the stones
flame throw'n
those that be know'n
i flow in a jar of formaldehyde
multiple choice
multiple voices
the louder we scream
the factories open the doors and start the machine
all of this madness isn't a dream
boggle the mind
shed a tear
fuck your shit up like a buccaneer
buck buck buck
what the fuck?
deflecting the bullets like a musketeer
get out your pompoms and start to cheer
(horn)
charging the energy ready to go
the scorpion bowl is overflow'n
onto the floor where the feet are shuffling
put in the clip
i'm bound to hit something
you know i'll fuck the shit up
from here to kingdom come and
i don't know why i can't die, i can fly
i don't know why we're alive, we're alive
i'm going to fight for my right to survive

Well, its a sweeping conclusion, not a generalization. However, i guess you wouldn't know the difference judging by your immature mindset.

I think cursing is pretty subjective, as opposed to the sweeping generalization you make:
"IMO Liberal usage of curse words in messages and music just dulls down the entire atmosphere from thought provoking to a big pool of propaganda based garble."
I love cursing. It's fun!
FUCK SHIT ASS DAMN ANN COULTER!

So when it all comes down to it. Language, and in reality, everything evolves. However, the definition of evolution is basically; change. The signification of that change is to be disputed by the targets of that evolution and the circumstances that triggered that change. In our case, that evolution of the the English language in our society is a complete fraud. It is a reaction from the lack of education in this country, and the lack of initiative thanks to corporations and Bush esque politics.

Rap is definitely not the only genre though. You have your emos, the death metal, the idiotic britney spearsish stuff who all have their versions of degradation and the same goal of reaping as much money from their targeted audiences as possible. It all comes down to that same modern evolution of the language, "Man I'm trippin. Who i be. What dat is. Gimmie a break. They are frontin", and it all seems to focus of "I" and "Me". As if self gratification is the only goal.

There is no encouragement for increasing your mental capacity. There is just the instillation of anger through blatant emotional propoganda, and the continuance of the status quo. That is why i despise rap, its culture, and ebonics or this "evolution" in the language as a whole.

on emotion, not a finely constructed argument. Which is in short: propaganda. Again, that is why the majority of rap artists use such language, because they play off of their targeted audience's emotions, which is the only thing they can play off of because they know that the majority of their audience cannot comprehend anything else b/c, unfortunately, they are mostly ignorant, ghetto bound people who are sentenced to 12 years of Gov't babysitting "public schools" and after that; street life.

They represent a heavy, yet blatant emotion, usually hate. Therefore, it can be used as a major form of persuasion, at least to the minds who hold such blatant expressions in a high value, usually ones who lack the ability to formulate any higher creative expression of themselves, which is why most rap consists of such language. Then when it is mixed with terms like "Gov't, police, medical marijuana", depending on its composition, can be a heavy form of propoganda that relies on emotion.
