One big rule when eating grass hoppers. Pull the head off and all the guts will come out. I seen a guy pull 8in tape worms out his ass from eating a grasshopper. so pull the head and guts out to avoid worms and parasites.

That's awesome!! I've always wanted to try that.
My brother has a huge sunflower field next to his house in San Marcos. Were gonna try catching a bunch by using a large, fuzzy wool blanket. Well walk through the field with the blanket stretched and gather them as they get their legs tangled in the wool.
They look like they might taste better than crawdads.
