people have to realize one thing. Hendrix was in fact, a living god, but musically he wasn't that good. Sure he had the soul, and it was all that much good with some LSD on top, but despite the awesome guitar solos and the rythym/solo playing that he endorsed, once you have a bit of musical theory, you realize its a bit all of the same, while guthrie has an amazing musical knowledge. So there is no need to compare. Enough said.

fuckheads no one can be compared to jimi. Jimi was a pioneer in music. He lived during an era were the music he played was totaly new , this guy grew up listening to Hendrix and copying him, so what da fuck?.Hendrix didn't had the chance to grow up listening to modern era music, Jimi basically reinvented guitarplaying.
