The best film ever made.

@apehodet i know its based on an older german folksstory and i did not intend to criticize you in any way. i was just worried the description would make people think faust is originally a movie.

Saw the Film on the 29th Oct. at the Usher Hall , Edinburgh. It was accompanied by Donald Mackenzie, (The Organist of the Odeon Leicester Sq. London) on the halls great 4 manual organ. it was awe inspiring.A lot of theaudience dressed as for 1926 or characters from the fil. Brilliant !. The music here is good but I believe a great concert organ would be more dynamic ! Just a thought.

0:06:33 is that terrifying or what!
ehm in the description it says faust is one of the most influential german films ever made. BUT Faust is originally a drama from 1808 and is considered as the most significant piece of german literature. i just wanted to correct that.

@251980756985 correct what? i never stated anything that contradicts that. also, "originally" is an overstatement - goethe's faust is based on a much older german folk story.
