I imagine that prisoner-on-prisoner crime is extremely low in this prison. This gives them something productive to do AND they have to work together. Maybe more prisons should do something like this.

I completely agree on this point. If more prisons would do positive things like this, then perhaps less prisoners would return to a life of crime upon release.
