Absynthe Minded is a Belgian rock band.
In august of 2009, the album Absynthe Minded was released in Belgium and The Netherlands.
The first two singles from the album were the tracks Envoi and Moodswing Baby.
After the release of Absynthe Minded the band was signed by the French Label AZ (Universal) for releases outside Belgium and The Netherlands.
The lyrics are based upon a poem by Hugo Claus

  • I rank this song among the greatest songs I've ever heard .. along with the Beatles, Cranberries and my other favorites. It just blows me away. It has this *something*, the combination of lyrics, violin and melody that makes me scream.

  • This song makes me cry everytime I hear it.. Cuz in winter their lips leaped. In spring they lied at the first warmth, they ruined my summer, and now its fall and the song is oh so terribly true....
