  • so in this video the P"s do prolong right?

  • longer longer longer drop omg its winckebach! thats an easy way to remember it lol my test is friday wish me luck

  • i've been studying this stuff for a while...and i still find wenckebach a funny word. any takers lol.

  • we can also call it the " PP " syndrome lol My teacher jokingly calls it that

  • This is Mobitz Type I or Wenkebach. It is a second degree heart block, Type I. The PR-Interval progressively lengthens until the QRS complex is dropped. This patient should be observed.

  • Take note: In 2nd Degree Heart Block you have 2nd Degree TYPE 1 (Mobitz I) and 2nd Degree Type 2 (Mobitz II) Here, prolonging of your PR interval then dropped beat. Therefore it is 2nd Degree Type 1/Wenckebach/Mobitz Type I

  • 2nd degree heart block.

Progressive lengthening of PR interval till QRS complex is absent.

QRS complex is normal whenever present in WENKEBACH.

  • in 2nd degree type 1 notice how the pr interval gets longer as each QRS complexes arise...then we get a dropped beat

  • oh.. sorry. I read wrong. it is correct on the title of the vid.

  • Hey, that´s type two!

Look at the extra ''P'' wave after the cicle + the prolonged PQ segment.
