  • Sheesh......back in the 70's people swapped and sold M1 carbines like so much junk, typical price was $50. Who'd a known the damn things would become so expensive and sought after?

  • @Blahblobify .. I'd love to have been a gun clooector back the. 50 bucks for an m1 carbine or an sks and ammo for pennies apiece, when i was a kid .22lr bulk ammo was about a third of a cent... now they all go for 3-4+ money!

  • Sorry to burst your bubble But That is not a new M1A1 Carbeen Its is not original it is an replica The wood it to light a color. The color it's a little more dark red not brown. Again i am sorry but it might fire but it's not an original. I know because i own One thats worth $2,000 Without The Clip With the original Clip Alot more So sorry Learn to spot one out!

  • @jlacoste12 ..yup, it's well established that its a universal. it was a fun little carbine and if I hadn't traded it for something I love much more (all original french MAS 49/56) I would miss it.... I only paid 150 bucks for this and the ammo. I think I did okay. thanks for the comment.

  • ha, thumbs up for the washing machine!

  • @wrksnfx I took an 8 pt 200 lb'er with it several years back. One shot. About 75-80 paces. He went about 50 yards or so after being hit. Bullet placement is key. The round is a bit under-powered IMO but will take game if you hit the vitals.

I use 110 gr Win. HSP ammo and I've taken several bucks at close range (50-80 yds) with it. Only one went very far...but that was my fault. Tried pushing the round out too far. It's a close-range weapon.

  • Awesome, but didnt see a bayonet lug anywhere. I think the capability to put a bayonet on the m1 carbine just makes it so kickass, other than that though, its a really nice rifle :D

  • please excuse me if im wrong, im not m1 carbine expert in any means but with it being a round bolt i think it was a m2 carbine mad semi

  • thts a fancy gun table u got thier

  • @rob1upon1gsxr1000 I want to an universal and try to make a bullpup version out of it w/ either 7.62X39 (AK47 round) or there was a guy who took and chambered it for .45ACP as well as the .50A.E. round that the Desert Eagle uses I think that would be SICK AS H377!

  • @junkiron1 I was thinking of taking mine for hunting too what was the biggest buck you took down and how many rounds did it take you? Here in Michigan your ONLY allowed a 5 round magazines for hunting :( so I go buy some new 5 round mags.

  • @wrksnfx good for you brother, are'nt they some bad ass rifles? ill try to make a video of my guns soon. im going to the costa mesa gun show tomorrow, im looking for a colt 1911 or a colt 1908 vest pocket in .32 anyways good for you on that rifle. enjoy brother.

  • I've got a Saginaw gear WW2 with 3 30rnd mags 7 15rnd mags the bayonet and the original m1a1 folding paratrooper stock if your's is made in Fla its only worth 150.00 and probably wont increase in price but keep it for self defense they are great rifles to have

  • @rob1upon1gsxr1000 I picked up my 1943 Underwood complete w/ 2 loaded 15 round mags and a loaded M-2 30 round magazines original sling, oiler, push button safety and adjustable windage rear sight I picked it up for $150.00 and like yours I had a local police officer offered me $1,400.00 for it my answer was the same NO!

  • this is a great replica as I have one also..these shoot great and arent all worn out...oh look at the prices of the M14 replicas...almost the cost of a real one.
