@mikeyhaas Sub stand for Sub channel, its use when you want to have 2 groups controled, ie vocals and instraments, the button that controled the main and the subs is used when you dont what to have that fine control over the 2 groups.
but i do have a quick question for the channel eq, there is ment to be 4 controls do you know what bands they cover?

Although I am talking through the mixer on a mic, the audio is being picked up from my studio monitors and the onboard microphone on my video cam. This video was for an eBay sell and not done for professional intent.

Yes, all the XLR ports have phantom power. Their is a switch on the back to enable phantom power.

Good question. Although it comes with a USB cable and its own recording software I don't believe you can control ProTools with it. I am pretty sure only ProTools certified hardware will mixer control.
