Joel Goldsmith lends the series finale a poignancy it's really not entitled to considering how derivative it was of that other navel gazing sci-fi melodrama, BSG.

You can't really end SGU. The ship's mission is, what, to discover the meaning of it all? How the hell is a human supposed to comprehend that? Much less come up with an answer?

I watched the end 30time and i want to cry all the time.... Stargate follow me in my life since a long time... SG1....SGA...SGU.... It's impossible to end it like that....

Say what you want... at least SG-U (and SG in general) were given chance for graceful and honourable ending, like Alien. Something which was taken away from Star Trek, Predator, Terminator, B5 and many other series and movie....
