  • i have a question. i own this pedal. but dont have the instruction manual with me.

is it possible to lay down a second layer that is twice as long as the first layer and have it loop together, without the first layer stopping half way through the second layer??

  • @jeffharper47 no, it's not meant for doing that. you just have to record the first track long enought so the second can fit in

  • one question ... i dont really know, what i want to by ... the jam man solo or the jam man stereo... worth the money for the jam man stereo ???

  • @Slashpower156 stereo, it's more hands free

  • i'm just wondering, what does this offer that a boss loop station can't? i feel like this has more problems.

  • @MINISLASH0 not if you read the instructions all the way through

  • I've had this pedal for a couple of years now and I use it for backing tracks for my band live. Fair enough you don't have an instructional manual (mine came with one?) But that doesn't excuse trying to plug the wrong sort of power supply into it OR saying that your looped guitar is 'too loud' so you'll need a booster pedal to be heard over it, when there is clearly a 'loop level' knob OR putting it before a distortion, trying to play two riffs at once and saying it sounds awful... Terrible demo

  • Quick question: Can you play Chet Atkins' Jam Man with the Jam man pedal?

  • this is a great review, very informative...well done

  • @Jungleboy867 that cant be right.. i did it one time by accident but was so caught up in the groove i was laying down that i forgot how i did it.... darn..

  • Yeh plugging an AC pedal into a DC power supply is real smart, if you want to fuck it up, thankfully digitech have different sized jacks, watch out for that sort of stuff because it isnt uncommon for AC and DC to be different voltage, and it also isnt uncommon to short out and destroy your pedal when a higher voltage is being pumped into your pedal, other than that a nice review.

  • You should use a looper _after_ your distortion...so it would sound much better and you wouldn'd have trouble with the "too loud" signals (which maybe is issued by phasecancelling or something like that...). checked it with a distortion-pedal at jamman-input!

using my distortion at jamman output sounds as crappy as your sounds right here!

  • Very helpful and professional style too - you won't be wanting for a job anytime!

  • didn't you search for an instruction in the internet?! there is one official pdf from digitech (pretty easy to find) and a lot of videos/tutorials?!
