@metfordgeorge In her movie "The Blue Angel," Marlene's character wears a tuxedo and top hat and sings the song "Falling in Love Again." I'd say what Madonna is doing is more of a tribute to Miss Dietrich than a parody. Now, how authentic her German accent is, I don't know. Germans, please weigh in =^)
