Dying girl cyber-bullied by adult neighbors gets special day, shopping spree

A feud between a neighborhood couple and Kathleen Edward's mother and grandmother, Rebecca Rose, led to cyber-bullying against Kathleen. The neighbors posted a doctored photo of Kathleen's face imposed with skull and cross imagery on Facebook in early October, 2010.
Kathleen has juvenile Huntington's disease, a devastating affliction that will eventually rob her of her ability to think, speak and move. The fatal genetic disease has no cure. Adults stricken with the more common form of Huntington's typically experience the onset of symptoms in their 30s and older.
The girl had happier times on Thursday morning, Oct. 14 in Ann Arbor, where she got a dream day that included a shopping spree, organized by the owners of Tree Town Toys, who wanted to show Kathleen that people care.

RIP dear little one. And may this poor family have comfort and peace they so deserve. I lost a child myself, so as for the 'neighbor', I've NOTHING to say except "oh how much pain you caused that poor family, may God have mercy on YOUR soul"

she got the store to herself. Petkov was that mean to Kathleen that they bought out a whole store for Kathleen. This is when you tell yourself: How heart warming and touching.

I’m glad she lost her children anyone who acts that way doesn’t deserve to raise children. I can’t believe anyone would have that much hate for anyone especially an innocent little girl. I hope she never gets her kids back. RIP little Kathleen!
