The Musashi sounded the best to me, almost sounded like a brass snare. I'm guessing as it will have sharp bearing edges and that Oak is one seriously hard tree.
-
@bertram7074 fat and wet, yeesh never heard that before
-
1 Musashi - Very dark sound, fat and wet
2 Steve Jordan - Bright, but not too bright, great wood sounding
3 Gretsch - Very fat due to it's depth,
4 Tama Artwood - Sounds good, but the least wanted of them imo.
-
Steve Jordan first, next Tama.
-
1. Steve Jordan
2. Gretsch
3. Tama
4. Yamaha Oak
My opinion
-
Steve Jordan snare by far
-
Yamaha Musashi Oak Snare is better
-
@craycpanda lmao

I have the Tama Artwood 14x8 limited edition snare. It's one of the best, fattest snares I've ever heard.

I think the Yamaha Steve Jordan snare is the best.
