just saw the movie.very beautifulll..no rape scene... :) while shes suposly raped and killed,it goes to the family's POV of wondering where Susie is..n stuff.WATCH IT! :)

@Envyfan09 in the movie Susies rape was not shown probably because they didn't want to make this movie so horrible, i guess you could say. if theyd shown it, thats all anyone would remember, you know? and in a way, the movie is much better with out it.

However in the book, the exstent of her attack is described quiet vividly by the author, perhaps because the book was stricktly first person.

its been a while since ive read it so i could be wrong, thats just my opinion.

just watched the movie.....saw a lof of people crying at the end of it when the safe is thrown into the water and goes away.....I think she should beat the crap out of that fucking fella!!!

okay what the hell are you talking about? I saw the movie Monday and I didn't see anything related to rape at all ._. Its kinda obvious that it happend but they didn't show it. Don't go to every lovely bones related vid saying that it was shown, its only making some people not want to see the movie.
