How great to again hear these wonderful melodies again and being sung by 2 very fabulous entertainers. So little do we see and hear such graciousness in the entertainment field.

How I love Nels and Jen singing this song, it is so heartfelt, you can hear the love in their beautiful voices. May their songs go on forever.

@orcopian1 .... Jeanette MacDonald.. spell it right.. moron... that's how sopranos sounded back then because of the audio equipment used..I heard her sing live at one of her favorite venues, the Hollywood Bowl, and trust me, she wasn't shrill in the LEAST ! her voice was full of sweetness, color and vitality, NEVER shrill on one note! If she were shrill, she would have never been asked to sing at the MET, but, because of movie commitments, never got the chance.

@cbur555//// what?? Nelson Eddy was a high baritone and Mario Lanza was a dramatic tenor, they don't sound ANYTHING alike... listen closer to each voice, you'll find a great difference in tone, timber, vibrato and clarity.. Nelson Eddy used a lot of nasal tones and was flat on notes quite often.. Mario Lanzo's sound is bright and he hit every note in tune. b-t-w...it's not Eddie,it's EDDY, learn to spell while you're at it

I've been listening to the two of them sing this beautiful song since I was 19 (I'm now 51) and every time it gives me chills, it's so awesome! Just be listening to this, one can tell the two of them were very much in love with each other, it's evident in her sweet singing and his emotional outpouring.
