This is a little video of a program I made using SLProxy to get data from Max/MSP to speak to Second Life and cause things to animate and move!
The end purpose of this is ultimately to allow a human musician to control objects/avatars in Virtual worlds using their physical movement in the Real world. This is part of my research project at the Sonic Arts Research Centre at Queen's University in Belfast and is part of a larger effort to explore network music performance between disparate sites.
