Railfanning Fullerton, BNSF & Metrolink Trains, 5/20/10

I was up in the Anaheim area on Thursday May 20th, 2010 so I decided to stop by the famous Fullerton station to catch some trains. I was there for about 2 hours and saw some good train action. First time railfanning here!!!

Train #1...Metrolink #689 rolls into Fullerton with cabcar #629 leading. This train blew my hat off!!

Train #2...Metrolink #708 pulls out of Fullerton and heads toward Riverside.

Train #3+4...BNSF Freight manifest heads East through Fullerton with 4 GEVO engines and 1 Dash-9. Right after this lengthy train clears the platform, Metrolink #707 pulls into the station with cabcar #602 leading.

Train #5...Headed down to the other end of the platform to catch a short BNSF intermodal train passing through led by GEVO #7306. Dumb guy with crutches just had to stand right in front of me.

Train #6...BNSF GEVO #7298 leads a large container train West. 2 engines on the front and 2 DPU's on the tail. Notice the large rust mark on Dash-9 #4048, the second engine on the front.

that first frieght is a 13hr late M-WATBAR1 20 I can tell because of all of the tanks because there is the ethanol facitily in Watson.
