I don't know but I just use the snipping tool on accessories for windows 7 or take a screenshot of the file then i save that picture as a gif and it works

It is said that you have to buy it in order to make gifs and such. Is that true?

I have a problem, how do you make your image transparent? I've clicked the enable transparent box but when you save it, it goes back with a white background.

I believe if you go into 'View' in the top of the window, at the bottom of the drop down menu, you can select which windows you would like to show, play around with which ones are active and not, you should be able to get those ones back, if Im reading your post correctly, it was a little confusing to me.

It definitely depends on what you want to do with the program. If you are editing photos, photoshop definitely provides ease of use and many easy to apply editing methods. For pixel art, I think that graphics gale takes the cake simply because of the zoomed up grid function. You can select individual pixels no matter the resolution of the image. Complex image editing and creation is far simpler for basic users in photoshop however.

Ha ha. Youtube is at war with my computer too. I can't edit my profile! Grr. That's why I'm going to a friends house soon. Anyway, I can't wait to check out more of your stuff!

Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it! I have been pretty busy with real life matters (work/school/etc) and havent been able to make any other series. Hopefully soon I will make another software related series, let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions on a topic you would like to see!
