How-to cache Google Maps

This is a short demo on how to cache Google maps for use on both Maps and Navigation.

1. Open Google maps and press [Menu] button
2. Select [Settings] then [Labs]
3. in the labs section enable Pre-cache
4. Back on the normal maps screen long press in the center of the area you want to cache
5. Press on the Arrow to get more options and then select [Pre-cache] selected area
6. the phone will proceed to download that section (10 Mile square radius)
7. Repeat 4-6 for all the area's you want to cache.

one thing at a time lol but yeah they can do it, just being google right! but you could download multiple areas then you can make up a city but it would take ages.

they should give an option to pre-cache entire cities..not just stupid sqaure boxes..sigh
