Wow... sketchy table saw use. Making the thin rips of walnut with no push block... your fingers are only inches from a blade presumably with no splitter.

quite difficult to make. YOu can score the grooves with a marking knife instead of chisel.

What size band saw do you have to do your re sawing?

I really like the project, but I would have covered or somehow hidden the license plate. But I'm also paranoid.
