This is a re-recorded version of "Sweet Child O' Mine", by newGN'R in 1999.

To be more specific:
*INSTRUMENTAL: Old GN'R live recording UNTIL 3:06; then it turns into newGN'R studio recording.
*VOCAL: re-recorded throughout the whole song, even on the "live" part, such as Axl did in many songs from "Live Era" (struggling to sing w/ raspy voice).

You can also notice that the song was completely edited and shortened:
*Axl starts singing earlier;
*There's no 1st guitar solo;
*Only the 2nd half of the 2nd guitar solo.

This version appears during the final credits of the movie.

  • LOL at the uploader writing (Axl struggles to sing)...the part where he is supposedly "struggling" is a live recording from 1992...moron hahah

  • @TuukkaTime

    Shut up.

    The vocal is re-recorded throughout the song. Even on the "live" part from 1992.

  • @fecoboco No. The first part is all from 1992. The second part (the best part) is NuGNR.

  • @volcano60

    Sorry dude, but you are wrong. A new vocal was recorded in '99 and overdubbed on the live recording. Axl's '99 voice is clearly recognizable.

    Around half of the songs on "Live Era" had overdubbed vocals as well.
