My final documentary short from my NYU semester abroad in Havana, Cuba. Graffiti artists and members of their communities discuss graffiti culture in Havana, which takes very different forms in Cuba than it does in the United States.

La verdad es que es un video documental de como esta la situación del Graffiti en Cuba y es muy triste saber que gente con talento esta allí sin recursos y sin apoyo de nadie, lo bueno de todo eso es que cuando logren cambiar esa situación van a ser mucho mejores y habrán dejado un verdadero legado, sigan adelante, perseveren en el arte… HERMANOS CUBANOS, saludos y un fuerte abrazo desde GUATEMALA, Dhero (Graffitero en Guatemaya)

Thank you so much for focusing on Cuban graff! I've never seen it before and everything that they said made sense why I hadn't. They all seemed so at peace working, just doing what they love. I wish them more notoriety in the world of street art, but I hope with it they maintain their delightful outlook on what they do. Beautiful.
