Abdullah Uhuru 1/3 Convert Revert to Shia Islam

Brother Abdullah Nazir Uhuru (May Allah have mercy upon his soul) passed away on Friday 12th October 2007 in his hometown of Nottingham, United Kingdom.

Brother Abdullah reverted to the path of the Ahlul Bayt (a) and become a dedicated and passionate representative of his new faith. He penned his first book in a loose manuscript format titled 'Rescued from the fire' which was then published for the first time in 1995.

Brother Abdullah was also an influential speaker and he developed a close relationship amongst the communities he visited. Even more so, he developed a special tie with the youths of the various communities and therefore will always be missed.

We pray that this brother of ours will have a special place amongst the Aimmah and that may Allah (swt) grant his family the patience in the absence of his presence in within this transient world.
