The FlyCamOne2 is a great gadget, but a lot of people are complaining about the recording time. i Noticed that, when it's cold, the battery power drops dramaticly. The standard battery doesn't like cold weather. The camera is clearly underpowered, and that's a shame because it's such a great device for a small price. i Replaced it with an old cell phone battery, and had no problems ever since.

  • @104084485 In freezing temps, the original lasted a couple of minutes, the cellphone battery lasts for allmost an hour. It's a big improvement!

  • Do you remember how long the battery life was extended to after you added the cell battery? Also did you notice it doing better in cold weather as well? Any info is appreciated

  • @rin5791 The wire goes through a hole in the camera and is soldered on to the spot where the original wires are.

  • where did u put the wire in the camera?

  • It comes ot of an old SonyEricson, but any(phone)battery will do, as long as it's 3,7V. I velcro'd it on to my camera.

  • sooooo.. what phone did you get it out of?? and you couldnt fit it back inside the cam right?
