Novak Djokovic has figured out how to beat Rafael Nadal. This video looks at several of the tactics Djokovic has employed the last four times they've played.

Because neither player has a huge advantage in terms of shot matchups, it all comes down to court positioning. Which player can get the other out of position first? So far the answer is typically Djokovic.

So my prediction is that Novak will beat Rafa in the 2011 French Open final. Going to be really interesting to watch. What do you think?

  • Make that 7 straight wins!

  • @all ; im getting kinda 3d view . how ?

  • From what I've analyzed about rafa's matches, a lot of times when he leaves balls short, it not jus that he hits on the run, but rather weight transfer, timing and such. I feel if there's one thing Rafa can improve on to have better chance against Nole or anyone is his footwork. As good as it is, it can still be better. Not just quicker and faster, but basically if he can get to each shot a bit earlier to get into better set-up, he'd have better execution.

  • Will, you are a shrimp!

  • YES NOW I CAN BEAT HIM!!! in my dreams....

  • Novak Djokovic clearly bookmarked this video.

  • Ask Novak Djokovic

  • DJOKOVIC 50 1 THIS YEAR O YEAAAAAAAAAAA WORLD RECORD

  • It is not about court positioning essentially but about the movement of each player. Novak just moves better from side to side, up and down and more importantly changes direction better. That is essentially the difference between the two. The ball comes back one more time and well placed which he is not used to. He has learned to neutralized Nadals attack not learned to attack Nadal!!!
