i'm a civil war reenactor for the confederacy ive been to a many southern ball's and danced with a many southern belle's in texas louisiana and arkansas hopefull i may make one in mississipi

Is this part of the Returning Heroes Ball or is this a different ball?

This is a different one, a "Jubilee Ball" that was held in November '05 - but by the same group (Commonwealth Vintage Dancers). This one doesn't seem to be an annual thing like the Returning Heroes Ball. (But I sure wish it was!)

Ok I see, I am a Civil War reenactor myself and my girlfriend wants me to come to the Returning Heroes Ball with her, which I plan to do.

You won't regret it! It's my personal favorite dance event of all time. (It's the only one in the area I know of that requires period dress, and it's so much easier to "step back in time" when there aren't folks in, like, modern coctail dresses and so forth). See you there! :)
