what engine do u have? sounds really different from a 360, maybe im confused because u dont have exhaust. or do u?

It's the 4.2 258 Inline six, T-177 4 speed np208 T-case, amc 20 in the back and a dana 44 up front, the exhaust is cut off under the cab and the rubber shifter boot is long gone so it's loud in the cab.

i am a 1978 jeep j10 jet owner. i recived it with the 401 and thought it was a piece of shit, i would recomend the 360 over the 401 any day, currently i am making modifications to drop the 383 supercommando in it from a doge half ton i had.

nice, sounds beastly too, but you would really enjoy havin a 360 or 401. ive never seen a 401 but knowin how good my 360 is it has to be awesome. i wish i had a stick shift like yours though, the th400 is strong as hell but get forrible gas mileage, plus i just rather drive a stck shift anyway.
